The Catholic Schools Foundation (CSF) of Winona, MN, founded in 1986, is a charitable organization supporting the Catholic schools (pre-school through grade 12) in Winona, Minnesota.
Through the hard work of many dedicated individuals and the generosity of numerous supporters of Catholic education, CSF now has an asset level of over $5,000,000. Ninety percent of the earnings from this endowment are distributed annually to Cotter High School, Cotter Junior High School and the Winona Area Catholic Schools (WACS) elementary system. The remaining ten percent of earnings is retained to grow the foundation asset level. In recent years, an average of $150,000 has been distributed annually to the schools.
